Dick is currently the Chief Market Analyst at Lowry Research. Founded in 1933, Lowry is the oldest continuously operating technical research company in the U.S. Prior to working at Lowry, Dick was senior technical analyst at Scott & Stringfellow from 1984-2001 and senior technical analyst at Hilliard Lyons in Louisville Ky. 2001-2002. Dick was a member of the Board of Directors for the Market Technicians Association (MTA) from 1996-2004. In that capacity, he served as Chairman of the Education Committee 1996-1999, Chair of the Long Range Planning Committee 1999-2003 and as Treasurer 2003-2004. He also was a member of the Board of Directions of the MTA Educational Foundation. While chair of the Education Committee Dick initiated a course in technical analysis at the University of Richmond, the first full-credit course in technical analysis at the university level taught in the U.S. Dick is currently a member of the Market Technicians Association (MTA).
