Todd Mariano

In his role as Director and Senior Policy Analyst at Renaissance Macro Research, Todd is responsible for international and domestic policy analysis, supporting Kim Wallace. Todd comes to RenMac with a decade of experience in geopolitical analysis and the securities industry. Prior to joining RenMac, Todd was a Principal with The Scowcroft Group in Washington D.C., where he focused on international political and economic developments, working closely with clients in the financial markets. He also provided strategic consulting and risk analysis to the firm’s multinational clients. Before Scowcroft, Todd managed global market research projects for government and commercial clients at Vista International. His previous experience in the finance industry included analyzing international politics, economics, and financial markets for the Executive Committee of Lehman Brothers – with an emphasis on European and Russian domestic politics and economic strategy – as well as positions in equity research and investment banking at Deutsche Bank, CIBC World Markets, and FBR.

Todd received a BS in Economics from Messiah College and an MA in International Politics, specializing in International Political Economy, from American University.
